The influence of heavy metals on the resorption of PAH by grains

The reciprocal influence of PAH and heavy metal resorption is described for wheat and barley growing in an agricultural area contamined by ammunition residues. The PAH detected in the plants could be attributable to changes in rhe roots' membranes brought about by the heavy metals
