A collaborative study for the determination of vinclozolin and captan in lettuce and pears was conducted in the author's laboratory. In two 3-day courses the participants of twelve laboratories analysed the samples by the micro on-line method and two macro methods for intermethod comparison. The pesticides were determined by GC-ECD after clean-up on silica gel deactivated by 10% water. The results of the micro method are well comparable with those of the macro method. Therefore, the macro extraction methods can be substituted by the micro on-line method
