The spiralling whitefly, Aleurodicus dispersus Russel (Homoptera : Aleyrodidae) is recorded for the first time on mulberry, Morus alba L. (Moraceae) in Karnataka. Investigations on its bionomics and life-history are presented. Forty alternate host plants, including crops of agricultural and horticultural importance, avenue trees and weeds are recorded. Recommendations for management of A. dispersus on mulberry are presented
