Show more [+] Less [-]English. This article describes the progress of a project which aims to design an Automatic system for the sensorial formulation of food products. This system, christened "the artificial cook", is made up, on the one hand, of an automaton which enables liquid mixtures to be made up from basic constituents and, on the other hand, a sensorial formulation software package which is capable of dialoguing with the tasters and finding satisfactory compositions.
