French. Les résultats d'une enquête menée sur 9 communes du Nord-Caraïbe sont exposés. Les circuits d'animaux sont précisés en examinant les types de bovins, les acteurs, l'aspect géographique, les périodes de vente et d'achat et l'importance quantitative de ces flux. En conclusion, ces pratiques d'élevage ne répondent pas aux objectifs classiques de production. Donc les flux de bovins dans cette région sont atypiques. Mais ces pratiques répondent à des besoins de diversification de production, d'entretien de surface et d'épargne.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. Results of a survey conducted in 9 communities of the North-Caraïbe are presented. The networks are defined according to the type of cattle, the agents, the geographical aspects, the periods of sale and purchase, and the quantitative flows. In conclusion, these practices do not fulfill the classical objectives of production. Therefore, the flows in this region are not typical. But, these practices do fulfill the needs of diversification and surface maintenance and saving.
