Rapport livrable ResiWater D1.3a : Évaluation de Vulnérabilité et de Résilience pour les cas d'études de Strasbourg Eurométropole | ResiWater deliverable 1.3a: Vulnerability and Resilience Evaluation of CUS use cases WP1 Use case specification, investigation and vulnerability assessments

This deliverable report aims to analyse the three case studies from CUS Eurométropole Strasbourg with the help of the ResiWater modelling solutions. The modelling solutions were developed in the WP4 (Robust hydraulic simulation tools) and in the WP5 (Development of Tools for Assessing WDS Vulnerability, Resilience and Robustness and Decision Support for Design) for the criticality and resilience indicators. The three case studies are described in the D1.1 report. Two phases were defined. The first one corresponds to the current state at the pilot water utilities. Vulnerability and resilience modelling tools are used to evaluate the level of criticality regarding each of the selected used cases. In phase two, it is evaluated how the new sensors, monitoring tools, robust models and assessment tools can improve the overall resilience of the water infrastructures. A plan with concrete measures at the water utilities at several levels will be prepared (e.g. instrumentation and installation of new sensor systems, new simulation and training tools and planning and preparedness tools).
