Response of some pepper cultivars against virus infestation in the field

Respond of some pepper cultivars against virus infestation in the field. This trial was conducted in the experiment station of Kramat, from August 1990 to Pebruary 1991. The treatments consisted of 18 pepper cultivars. Randomized Block Design with three replications were used for this experiment. Result of the experiment indicated that all cultivars could show virus symptom with disease intensity ranged between 41.85 percent and 63.09 percent. Cultivars which had low disease intensity and high production were LV 2323, LV 32, LV 42, LV 64(2), LV 67, LV 125 and LV 128, while tolerant cultivars were LV 170 AND LV 173
