The study was conducted to evaluate the effect of media and storage period of stem cuttings on the growth and the production of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L) Lam.). It was showed that media of sawdust gave better result than either coconut fiber or no media. The storage period affected all variables in all treatments, except shoot length, total plant fresh weight and total plant dry weight. The study indicated also that the production of sweet potato was higher in 6-day storage periods then in 3, 9 and 12-day storage periods
