Tomato has consumed as vegetable which has an important role in the human nutrition of. High demand for tomato could not be fulfilled by national production. Tomato consumption increase continually in accordance with increasing population growth. The aim of this study was to know: a) influence of proportion between concentration of IAA (auxin) and BAP (cytokinins) on the response of different tomato ex plant to plant let formation in in vitro propagation, b) interaction between proportion of IAA and BAP and source of ex plant to plant let formation in in vitro propagation. Design of experiment was factorial based on completely randomized design with three replications. The first factor was proportion of IAA and BAP i.e. no growth hormone added as a control, 0.2 ppm IAA + 0.5 ppm BAP, 0.2 ppm IAA + 1.0 ppm BAP, 0.2 ppm 1M + 1.5 ppm BAP. The second factor was source of ex plant i.e. cotyledon and hypocotyls. Tomato variety used was Liontin. Basic medium used was MS. The results showed that treatment with 0.2 ppm IAA + 0.5 ppm BAP on cotyledon as an ex plant produced the best growth of tomato plant let.
