Influence of lime fertilizers on neutralizing of soil and peat substratum acidity
2000
Jaervan, M.
The neutralizing effect of different lime fertilizers were investigated. The pot and field trials on soil and peat substratum were conducted. The rate of lime fertilizer on soil was 5 t/ha and on peat 8 kg/m (3). Carbonate rock meals, mostly dolomite meal neutralized the acidity less and slowlier than oil shale ash and cement clinker dust. The neutralizing value of lime fertilizers determined in a laboratory did not indicate their neutralizing effect in practice correctly
