An epidemiological investigation of leptospirosis in a north Queensland dairy herd is described. There were serological reactors to serovars hardjo, zanoni, and pomona and a single isolate of each of the serovars hardjo and zanoni was obtained from the urine of 2 heifers in this herd. This is the first reported isolation of hardjo from a cow in north Queensland.
