Investigates larval oxytetracycline hydrochloride (OTC) concentrations and the period for which it could be detected in larvae following hive treatment with a range of OTC formulations; the period for which OTC activity could be detected in honey samples, and individual larva OTC analysis after hive treatment. Reports on the detection of non-apparent American foulbrood (AFB) and European foulbrood (EFB) infections using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect Melissococcus pluton and Bacillus larvae.
