A further study of the relationship between the standard deviation of diameter and mean diameter for [wool] tops

Data from measurement of 222 tops from the TEAMS trial were compared with data from tops made by mini-scale processing of individual sale lots. It was concluded that a linear relationship between mean diameter and the standard deviation of fibre diameter is adequate to describe the data, but differences exist between the various data sets.
