Time trends in production of Merino ram breeding flocks in New South Wales [sheep]

A total of 60 flocks, each with at least 5 annual records, were included in a least squares regression analysis over the period 1979-1989. Total responses in fleece weight and fibre diameter were plus 7.7 percent (linear) and plus 0.50 micron (curvilinear) respectively. There was substantial variation between flocks in estimated trends.
