Milne, W.M. (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, Warrawee (Australia). Entomology Research Station)
Between June 1980 and October 1981, A. ervi was released at 59 sites in New South Wales and 4 in S. Queensland as part of a biological control programme against Acyrthosiphon kondoi and, more recently, A. pisum. The parasite is now widely dispersed in both states. Establishment in many areas preceded the arrival of A. pisum.
