1992
Thomson, P.C. | Rose, K. (Western Australian Dept. of Agriculture, Forrestfield. Agriculture Protection Board)
Various aging techniques were evaluated using the skulls of 31 known-age dingoes comprising 10 adults, 17 yearlings and 4 juveniles. Determination of the pulp cavity ratios of the canine teeth provided a suitable method for determining the age class. Closure of the foramen at the root tip of canine teeth was successfully used as a method for separating juveniles from older dingoes.
