In tests of 3 vaccines on 4 groups of 26-week-old chickens, serovar C-2 and serovar C-4 vaccines protected more than 50 percent of the birds against either a serovar C-2 or C-4 challenge while serovar A-4 vaccine protected less than 50 percent of birds.
