Effect of using different types of vitamin-mineral premixes on the performance of broiler chicks

An experiment was conducted with 80 broiler chicks (Australorp x Aseel) of 3 weeks of age for a period of 9 weeks to compare the effect of using three different types of vitamin mineral premixes in the broiler rations. Mortality was highest in treatment group C (15%) and B (5%) but no mortality occurred in treatment group D. The price of experimental ration for treatment group B was found highest and the price of basal ration for treatment group A was lowest in comparison to those for treatment C and D having the same prices
