The systematic position of Hypertropha (Lepidoptera) and related Australian genera
1980
Common, I.F.B. (CSIRO, Canberra (Australia). Div. of Entomology)
The external morphology and certain features of the behaviour of the adult, larva and pupa of Hypertropha, Eupselia and related Australian genera, variously assigned to the Glyphipterigidae, Choreutidae, Hypertrophidae, Copromorphidae and Oecophoridae, are described and figured. It is concluded that these genera belong to the Gelechioidea, and have close affinities with Thudaca and some other Australian genera referred to the Oecophoridae.
