[Chemical control trial of cashew nut (Anacardium occidentale L.) diseases in Tanzania]

English. This note describes the results of a chemical control trial of cashew nut diseases that has been done near the Agricultural Research Institute (A.R.I.) in Naliendele (Mtwara region). The trial was principally directed against Oidium anacardii Noack that seems to be, for this crop, the main cause of diminishing production. Good results have been obtained with "Karathane" (Dinocap) and "Spersul" (wettable Sulphur spray) which have tripled the production in comparison with the test not sprayed.

Tra i prodotti usati hanno dato buoni risultati il "Karathane" (Dinocap) e lo "Spersul" (Zolfo bagnabile) i quali, in confronto al testimone non trattato, hanno fatto triplicare la produzione.
