[Seasonal changes in water, osmotic and turgor leaf potentials in durum wheat]

English. In 1982 the seasonal changes of leaf of five durum wheat cultivars grown under field conditions was monitored using a psycrometric apparatus. There was found to be a general increase in pressure during the floreal differentiation-earing period. No particular differences were observed either between the tall and dwarf varieties or between those with bloom or not. The relation between the values taken from the earing period to the initial stage of leaf senescence does not follow a linear regression in all the varieties. According to an analysis of the differing values it seems that the varieties 'Tibula' and 'Creso' are more resistant to water stress than the other varieties, although these findings require further proof.

Italian. Nel 1982, mediante l'impiego di una apparecchiatura psicrometrica, sono state seguite le variazioni del potenziale fogliare, osmotico e di pressione durante le fasi di sviluppo di 5 varieta di grano duro allevate in coltura ordinaria. L'accrescimento della pianta durante il periodo differenziazione fiorale-spigatura, e stato sostenuto da un generale aumento della componente di pressione. Non sono state osservate notevoli differenze tra le varieta a taglia bassa ed alta nonche tra quelle glaucescenti e non. La relazione tra i valori rilevati nel periodo spigatura-inizio ingiallimento delle toglie, non segue in tutte le varieta un andamento lineare. Le varieta 'Tubula' e 'Creso' sembrerebbero piu resistenti all'aridita rispetto alle altre. Questi risultati, pero, necessitano di ulteriori verifiche.
