Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Uruguay durante el 2018, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de apicultura, comercio, ganadería sostenible, sanidad e inocuidad, buenas prácticas agrícolas, agricultura familiar, políticas públicas, asistencia técnica, extensión rural, desarrollo rural y resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Asimismo, se trabajo en mejorar la conciencia agropecuaria, las manufacturas, la resistencia antimicrobiana, la internacionalización, la degradación de tierras, el control de jabalíes y en la producción de frutas y hortalizas. Finalmente, se llevo a cabo la inspección ex ante y post mortem de bovinos, la implementación de la equidad de género y el apoyo a la mediana y pequeña empresa.
Show more [+] Less [-]The main activities carried out by the Institute in Uruguay during 2018 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening in matters of apiculture, trade, sustainable livestock, health and safety, good agricultural practices, family farming, public policies, technical assistance, rural extension, rural development and resilience against climate change. Likewise, work was done to improve agricultural awareness, manufacturing, antimicrobial resistance, internationalization, land degradation, wild boar control, and fruit and vegetable production. Finally, the ex ante and post mortem inspection of bovines was carried out, the implementation of gender equality and support for small and medium-sized enterprises.
