The activities involving the establishment of forage banks by farmers in Nevis are presented. Forages such as Leucaena, Guinea grass, tall and dwarf Elephant grass and Siratro have been evaluated in the project. The cutting interval for Guinea grass was 61 days while first cut for Leucaena was after 7.5 months. Farmer acceptance was high
