The ISU Cooperative Extension Service was founded in 1906, established by the Iowa General Assembly. The Service works with a variety of organizations, agencies, and institutions, and offers programs on agricultural production, conservation of natural resources, family and farm living, 4-H club work, youth development, and community improvement. The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation was created in 1918 and its purpose was to coordinate the county farm bureau system. Container list available in repository.
