Srivastava, P. C. | Gupta, Umesh C.
The book will serve as a text-cum-reference book on trace elements for students, teachers, research students, extension workers and progressive farmers. Chapter 1 to 7 briefly introduce the reader to all important general aspects of trace elements in the soil and plant systems with suitable examples and illustrations. Chapters 8 and 9 deal with trace elements essential to plants and also those which are important for animal and human health. The book gives information in an easily understood form about lower and upper critical limits for trace elements in soil and crops, physiological roles/effects, deficiency and toxicity disorders (biochemical, histological and visual).
