Adding solid foods
1980
Abstract: Guidelines for introducing solid foods to infants are provided in this brochure from the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service. Specific recommendations are provided for preparing and feeding cereals; fruits, vegetables, juices; meat, egg yolk, beans; finger foods; and table foods. Foods that should not be given to young infants are identified. Recommendations are given for adjusting infants' milk and water intakes as solid foods make up a larger part of the total diet.
