1988
Glenn, H. Stephen | Nelsen, Jane
Abstract: This book explains the reasons why so many of our young people do not feel capable. From their own practical experience, the authors show how today's children are victims of the society's affluence. The nature of the program is being explored by first looking at the transition in families. According to the authors today's youth do not see the importance of their contribution to the family unlike their counterparts of the 1930's. The authors also state that youth often feel unmotivated, alienated, and depressed because of their parents behaviors. Finally, a seven-step blueprint solution designed to help children are given to parents and educators.
