Reports on the results of over two decades of research in the Sitka Spruce Breeding Program. The objective of the Sitka spruce (Picea sitchensis [Bong.] Carr.) breeding program is to develop, propagate, and deploy genotypes with robust resistance to the white pine weevil (Pissodes strobe Peck).
