Reports the results of a study to determine revenue generation and cost control measures currently used in four school districts that operate financially successful Child Nutrition Programs. The district CNPs were identified by their administering state agencies as quality programs that were financially successful. A questionnaire solicited information about each district's cost control measures and sources for revenue generation. This study reports major findings in the areas of general financial information, revenue generation, labor expenses, and food and other operational expenses. Includes recommendations.
