Abstract: Factors affecting the attainment of the maximum possible human lifespan are elaborated for health professionals and the general public. Topics include: the human psychobiological potential, pathology management, aspects of regeneration and rejuvenation, and the influences of lifestyle, balanced nutrition, and exercise on longevity. Instances of healthy longevity of 90-120 years have been documented in various societies. Discussion presents the author's views on: lifestyle and longevity, biochemical research on human immune systems, the aging of cells, exercise and diet in relation to aging, and the highly important impact of belief and attitude on a person's lifespan.
