Chocolate milk in perspective

Abstract: This paper presents basic facts and reviews the scientific literature about the composition and health effects of chocolate milk. The intent of the review is to put into perspective concerns about inclusion of chocolate milk in the diet, particul arly childrens' diets, and to evaluate the use of chocolate milk in federal nutrition programs.
