Dose dependence of zinc and manganese absorption in man
1992
Sandstrom, B.
This paper describes data that demonstrate that the size of the administered dose determines the amount absorbed of bothzinc and manganese. Their absorption, when given as a aqueousolution, shows a linear increase in uptake with increasing dose suggesting a diffusion process. Dietary zinc uptake issaturated at or below levels that can be found in normal meals and diets.
