Self-help groups can be an informal interrelation of individuals who choose to join together to find ways of ameliorating their way of life. This paper presents the findings of the study conducted in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat, India to determine the Group Dynamics Effectiveness of Women's self-help groups in the Ahmedabad district of Gujarat. As far as various indicators of group dynamics effectiveness are concerned the majority of SHGs members had a high level of participation, teamwork, group atmosphere, decision-making procedure, group cohesiveness, group leadership and interpersonal trust and achievement of SHG. As per overall group dynamics effectiveness is concerned more respondents are observed ata high level of GDE. The overall group dynamics effectiveness mean per cent score was 71.60 and the mean per cent score of SHG members of the different component was at par and there was no significant difference among these components which determine the group dynamics effectiveness.
