The infrared spectra of the compounds Cs₂⁵⁰Cr₂O₇ and Cs₂⁵³Cr₂O₇ have been measured. An approximate normal coordinate analysis has been performed on the basis of these frequencies. The result confirms the assignment of the band at 70-90 cm ⁻¹ to the CrOCr deformation mode.
