A new lupin alkaloid (+)-15-beta-hydroxy-17-oxolupanine was isolated from the ethanol extract of the seeds of Lupinus albus together with (+)-tetrahydrorhombifoline. 17-Oxolupanine was detected by GC-mass spectral analysis.
