Blastomycotic meningoencephalitis in a dog was characterized by granulomas, which occurred most frequently in the gray matter of the cerebrum and the granular layer of the cerebellum, and often centered around vessels. Numerous B. dermatitidis organisms were in the granulomas and leptomeninges.
