A flavonol tetraglycoside, kaempferol 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 leads to 6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl(1 leads to 2)- beta-D-glucopyranoside-7-O-alpha-L rhamnopyranoside, together with nine known compounds were isolated from the seeds of Sophora japonica L. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence.
