Morphological Behaviours of Some Fig Varieties under Yalova Conditions

This study was conducted in order to observe adaptation abilities of eight fig varieties from different parts of Turkey to Yalova conditions. Trunk diameter, canopy volume, annual shoot growth and thickness, number of nodes per shoot were observed. Trees showed well morphological development which indicates good adaptation. Also, the cultivars exhibited various morphological behaviors.
