How can we get kids to eat?

Several new serving techniques and merchandising efforts are suggested as means to get kids to eat school lunches. These include buffet style meals, a build your own sandwich line, student involvement in taste panels, color coded lunches inspired by the Bicentennial, tasting parties, a restaurant atmosphere and other techniques picked up from fast food outlets. Many of the techniques have been successfully implemented in schools across the country.
