Algorithms for calculating the rate of biomass production and control of the fermentation process are examined. A detailed analysis of the operation of the process control system at the Svetlyi Yar Single-Cell Protein Plant is given. The structure of the software of fermentation process control system realized on an SM-1800 computer is given.
