Son, D. | Kobe, A. | Sugiyama, T.
Levels of protein and mRNA for alanine aminotransferase, which is involved in the C4 pathway of Panicum miliaceum, were measured during recovery from nitrogen stress. The results indicate that the enzyme accumulates selectively in response to nitrogen availability primarily as a consequence of changes in the level of its mRNA.
