Deep-water lithodids of the genus Paralomis White, 1856 (Decapoda, Anomura, Lithodidae) off western Mexico

Three species of the deep-water genus Paralomis White, 1856, are reported from western Mexico, two of these for the first time: Paralomis aspera Faxon, 1893, previously known from Panama to Peru, and P. otsuae Wilson, 1990, previously known only from Chile. The third species, P. multispina (Benedict, 1895), has numerous records in the eastern Pacific, particularly off California. Information related to the habitat of each species is provided.
