Current educational technological developments are reviewed together with the varied response of the educational community. Modern technological devices can be employed for supplemental/enrichment uses or for dissemination. Television, videocassettes, and audiocassettes typify the devices which have great potential for providing efficient learning. Recent significant uses of television as a delivery system are listed. Innovative advances are more readily accepted in adult education than in the traditional mode and reasons for this difference are analyzed. Media/education professionals are urged to utilize new technology.
