Examining program costs
1982
Splett, Patricia L.
Cost data can be analyzed to determine if nutrition programs are beneficial to the individual, the community, and the organization. Three different situations are used to show how organizational structure, different types of services, different funding, and other factors have an impact on cost-procedures. Five steps are identified which may move the nutrition professional into a position of effective decision making. This information will impact program planning, resource allocation, and help in deciding between alternative approaches and activities as well as provide justifications. (kbc)
