Polyacetylenes from roots of Bupleurum falcatum

Three new polyacetylenes, saikodiynes A-C were isolated from an ethereal extract of roots of Bupleurum falcatum along with a known compound. 2Z-9Z-pentadecadiene-4.6-diyn-l-ol. The chemical structures were elucidated by spectral and chemical methods.
