Modified whey

Modified whey includes such products as partially delactosed whey, demineralized whey, and whey protein concentrate which can be used in formulating new dairy and other food products like Hamburger Helper and Puppy Chow. Electrodialysis, ion-exchange, ultrafiltration, and gel filtration are methods of producing modified whey which leave the protein intact.
