Chicago Nutrition Association Nutrition Symposium: Nutrition--the key to optimal health
1982
Callaway, C. Wayne
The ideal diet does not exist because people have varying nutritional and health needs; therefore, no diet can guarantee health. However, good nutrition (through variety and moderation) is 1 of the several keys to good health. Because biases often negate reality, nutritional controversies arise. This provides food faddists and trained professionals with recommendations that can be proved either right or wrong. Care must be taken to attempt to identify biases and involved sources. (kbc)
