Instructional curriculum mapping: the functional relationships among the outcomes of instruction
1978
Wagner, Walter
Five domains of learning are specified as Verbal Information, Attitudes, Motor Skills, Cognitive Strategies, and Intellectual Skills. A domains functions matrix describes functional relationships among domains of learning. The matrix is shown and explained. A process of diagramming the functional relationships between objectives is termed Instructional Curriculum Mapping. This process is illustrated with the objectives for an instructional unit on media and methods. These new tools can aid in the development of a unified instructional product.
