A new gymnopoid species from western Spain

A recent collection of an undescribed gymnopoid fungus from typical Mediterranean evergreen forests of western Spain is studied and described. The new species is characterized mainly by its convex and fan shaped white pileus, pruinose stipe and globose basidiospores.
