Efficacy of some newer insecticides against sucking pests of chilli (Capsicum Annum L.)

The field study on efficacy of newer insecticides for controlling sucking pests of chilli revealed that among the insecticides fipronil 5% SC @ 45 g a.i./ha was superior for controlling thrips, aphid and whitefly, while propargite 57%EC 850 g a.i./for mite population. Treatment with fipronil 5% SC @ 45 g a.i./ha recorded highest fruit yield (39.90q/ha).
